Who We Are

The Gateway City Whiskey Society (GCWS) is a new and open group of whiskey enthusiasts from the St. Louis area that have come together to share our passion and excitement with you! We will be engaging with industry professionals and other whiskey fans, and we hope you'll join us on our whiskey journey as we learn and grow!

Whiskey Reviews

Honest and consistently updated reviews from our contributors. Whiskeys tasted by each of us receive a committee review where we compile notes and average our scores. Whiskeys that are harder to find or have less distribution will get reviewed individually, allowing our unique character to shine through!

Barrel Select Program

We have been fortunate enough to have the opportunity to select barrels for our members and the greater St. Louis area! So far, six of our barrel selections have reached market with several more in the works.

The members of GCWS encourage you to make good choices. If you're not old enough to drink, you're not old enough to take part just yet.
